12/25/2009 - Christmas Blessings

The last 3 blood tests and visits to the doctor were all good. My ANCs went up to 1.0 on Tuesday, then 1.1 yesterday so I am no longer neutropenic. This is a wonderful Christmas gift from God. Thank you for your prayers. I am tentatively scheduled to have the next round of chemo on 1/7/2010. Please pray that my body will recover well and be be able to handle the next round of chemo very well. God has blessed me with an uneventful third round of chemo. Please also pray that my next round of chemo will be equally uneventful or better. Thank you all for your prayers.

I would like to wish you and your family a blessed and joyful Christmas!

  1. Almighty God, how awesome are Your deeds! How great is Your power...(Psalm 66:3). Thank you, Lord for hearing and answering our prayer for Val's ANC which went up to 1.0 on Tuesday, and 1.1 the following day so that she is no longer neutropenic. Indeed, nothing is impossible for You. Lord, we again humble before You, bowing down at Your throne of mercy and lift up Val to You and continue to pray:

    1. for her complete healing.
    2. for her ANC to continue to increase.
    3. for her to have a healthy body in preparation for her next round of chemo which will be on Jan.7,2010.
    4. for her body to recover well and be able handle the chemo.
    5. that the chemo will be uneventful or better.
    6. for protection for Val and her family from the flu or viruses.
    7. for wisdom and clear mind to make the right decisions to do Your will with regards to BMT.

We praise you LORD. You are so great, so awesome. Your presence fills the universe. We are filled with Your amazing love, touched by your compassion. There is no one like You in our lives, our Master, our Lord, our God. Thank you for taking care of Val. We know that as long as she abides in You, all will be well with her. It is in Your name that we trust. It is in Your power that will help Val meet this challege. After all, You made her, she is fearfully and wonderfully made by You and we know you are able. All praise and glory to our Jehova-rapha, the LORD who heals!
In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
